Early summer (May to June): Beautiful, mild weather with temperatures in the 70s°F (21–26°C) — perfect for beach days and sightseeing, without the peak summer crowds yet.
Peak summer (July to August): sunny, hot, and lively, with temperatures often reaching the 80s°F (27–30°C). It’s ideal for beach lovers but also the busiest and most expensive time.
Late summer (September): Warm and less crowded, with temperatures still around 70s°F (21–26°C). Great for enjoying the beaches and town without the intensity of peak season.
Fall (October-November): Pleasant but cooler; the city quiets down after tourist season.
Winter (December-February): Mild winters compared to most of Europe (50s°F /10–15°C), but it's too cool for beach activities. Good for a quiet, cultural visit.
Spring (March-April): Mild and beautiful as flowers bloom, but water temperatures are still a bit cold for swimming.
